Times Square Tourists vs Surburban Tollmen

With some help from the Lehigh Valley Crocs, all teams suited up ten players for Round 3 of the NY Metroleague. In game 1, the Tourists took and early lead and never looked back. Bell was dominant up front with a couple of bend-it-like-Belly goals that had the Tollmen backs scratching their heads.

A couple of late goals from the Trash made the game interesting, but failed to impact the final result. Tourist co-captain James Paterson took home the BOG honors, but not before he was ridden like a Bull by LV Croc Andrew Colosimo who failed to take the grab. Refusing to concede that he looked stupid as a stepladder Pato responded “Did he take the mark? Exactly, a true defender uses every part of his body to thwart an opponent, even the back of his neck.”.

Surburban Tollmen 6 (Desai, Lerner, Slater, Colosimo, Wells, Oliver)

Hudson River Rats vs Village Bohemians

A depleted Bohemians crew took to the field in Game 2 against the undefeated Hudson River Rats. The Rats started strong with four unanswered goals in the first term. The Rats slowed down in the third term thanks to some strong Bohemian work up front by Keith Davies and Shane Smith.

The Bohemians/ LV Crocs combination was seeing double during this game with the addition of another Luminato to the Rats outfit. And Juice just couldn’t get enough Rat-action after being traded to the Tollmen in the off-season, came back as the prodigal son to add two more goals.

Hudson River Rats 12 (G Luminato 2, S Luminato 2, Bridges 2, Desai 2, Loring 2, Gurry 1)
Village Bohemians 6 (Davies 3, Wells, Smith, Jones)
