2.      TEE SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

OK, so you've all seen the creative wizardry of our New York Magpies Team Tee-Shirts that we sell vigorously at Magpie events.  Who can forget Heidi Klum modeling the "Are Those Pies Hot?" tee at Fashion Week in '04?  Or how about Naomi in Paris strolling around in her "I Magpie NY" shirt?

Now it's your chance to feel like the creative Chelsea-type in our Magpies' "DESIGN THE 2005 TEE SHIRT COMPETITION". Winners will receive 2 free shirts and free entry to the 2005 ANZAC Day Event.

Your design should:

1. Be only one or two colors (white is not counted as a color)

2. Include the Magpies logo and website address.  If you need the logo, please email

3. A creative picture or phrase that signifies the Pies 2005 year!

4. Have a design for both sides of the shirt (front and back)

Your design should be sent to no later than Monday, March 28 and should be in jpeg or word format. Winners will be notified by April 4. Good luck!

3.      MAGPIE AFL TIPPING COMPETITION

With NCAA Basketball March Madness off to a great start keep the madness going by entering your AFL picks too.  Free to enter, but prizes to be won.  And don’t forget to watch Aussie Superstar, Andrew Bogut, the University of Utah player who will likely be an NBA lottery pick when he leaves college.

With the AFL season starting up this Friday, The Magpies have started a 'tipping' competition (for all of Americans reading this, in this context 'tipping' means picking the winners of each game, not pushing anything over!) to make the season a little more interesting for all of us!  To make things even more interesting, the winner of the tipping comp will receive a free ticket to this year's Grand Final party, and a gift certificate at Outback Steakhouse.  We'll also be giving a prize to the lucky tipper who finishes last. So join the comp and show us what you've got!
