And last, but not least, authentic Australians of both the male and female variety ready to live it up.
The Australian open should also be on live very late that night so stick around to watch on the numerous televisions, including several plasma screens.
Entry is only $10 with a portion of the proceeds going to the Tsunami Relief Fund
Tickets are available at the door, there is no pre-sale of tickets to this event so get there early to join in the fun.
There will be heaps of free door prizes courtesy of Coopers Beer and NYC2012 (www.nyc2012.com). To be eligible to receive door prizes remember to bring along a business card and drop it off at the entrance when you gain entry to the event.
2. MTA FARE INCREASES
Just in time to coincide with the enormous credit card bills that you are receiving from holiday shopping, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority is taking more of your money. This affects everything from buses & subways to Long Island Railroad & Metro-North.

On the bright side, the MTA has stated that riders are still entitled to the free unlimited stench of urine with every subway ride.
3. Drinking game puts Perth man near death
This story is funny, scary, sad, and sick all at the same time. Kind of like Donald Trump.

4. FILM VERSION OF CLASSIC KIDS BOOK TO BE FILMED IN AUSTRALIA
Some 1,000 local jobs will be created in late January when cameras spin in the Australian state of Victoria for a live-action and computer-animated hybrid version of "Charlotte's Web."
The Children's classic Charlotte's Web will be adapted with a modern twist when it is filmed in Victoria next year.
The Paramount Pictures' adaptation of the famous book by E.B. White, which will be a mixture of animation and live action, is due for release in 2006.
The movie will be filmed in Williamstown, in Melbourne's south-west, and in Greendale, in western Victoria, with production scheduled to start in late January.
Victorian premier Steve Bracks said it was a "great coup for Victoria".
"A major international production of Charlotte's Web is going to be the important remake, the definitive remake," Mr. Bracks told reporters in Melbourne.
"I am very pleased this has been secured for Victoria and I think it's going to be great for the (local) film and TV industry."
He said they had major competition from the United States, Canada, New Zealand and other states in Australia.
Charlotte's Web is the story of an affectionate, sometimes bashful pig named Wilbur who befriends a spider named Charlotte, who lives in the rafters above his pen. A prancing, playful bloke, Wilbur is devastated when he learns of the destiny that befalls all those of porcine persuasion. Determined to save her friend, Charlotte spins a web that reads "Some Pig," convincing the farmer and surrounding community that Wilbur is no ordinary animal and should be saved.
Charlotte's Web is to be directed by Gary Winick. Susannah Grant, who wrote Erin Brockovich, penned the script with revisions by Karey Kirkpatrick.
Victoria will also be the location for the movie version of Marvel's Ghost Rider.
Speaking of animals and Australia, check out this article. Was this kangaroo out of place or what?
